2. Comprehend advanced assessment techniques
3. Synthesize clinical data and apply guideline directed care
Summary:
Orthopedics can be a challenging subject for providers due to lack of experience with orthopedic conditions and the varying treatment guidelines. This continuing education opportunity will help expose you to common musculoskeletal injuries and how to treat them.
Speaker Bio:
Dr. Adam Kinsaul, DNP, ACNP-BC, RNFA is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with 14 years of experience. He is an advocate for advancing Nurse Practitioner practice, improving access to care, and mentoring new NPs. He serves as President-Elect for the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama, as well as Chairman of the Bylaws & Nomination Committee for the Birmingham at-large Chapter for the American Association of Men in Nursing, and Medical Director / Mission Team Lead for Sweetwater Outreach, a non-profit mission organization. Dr. Kinsaul practice at Precision Southern Orthopedics in Jasper, AL and is Adjunct Faculty with the UAB School of Nursing.
